Empowering Tanzanian Girls Through Education

Diamonds Do Good and the Flaviana Matata Foundation (FMF) are working together to change the lives of underserved girls in Tanzania by tackling education inequality. FMF was started in 2011 by Flaviana Matata, a successful model and philanthropist, who wanted to give back to her community. Since then, the foundation has helped thousands of students by providing scholarships, school supplies, and improving school facilities, such as building classrooms and proper toilets.

This important work is supported by Diamonds Do Good, an organization dedicated to helping communities in diamond-producing countries like Tanzania. The Flaviana Matata Foundation alongside Diamonds Do Good are ensuring that young girls who often face challenges in accessing education get the opportunities and resources they need to stay in school, overcome poverty, and build better lives.
