The Flaviana Matata Foundation has provided academic scholarships to adolescent girls, facilitating their educational pursuits. The Foundation’s scholarship program is distinguished by two comprehensive categories, tailored to the educational level of the recipients: a. Full Academic Scholarships b. Partial Academic Scholarships

These scholarships encompass tuition fees, essential school supplies, and maintenance support for an academic year. The program aims to empower underprivileged adolescent girls who encounter obstacles in obtaining education, enabling them to realize their professional aspirations. Additionally, the program incorporates a mentorship initiative that offers guidance on career trajectories, imparts crucial soft skills, and provides internship opportunities to hone practical job skills.

As of 2023, the Foundation has proudly supported 25 girls, with some continuing their education, others actively seeking employment, and a number securing job placements within and beyond Tanzania’s borders. The FMF is dedicated to equipping these young women with the necessary tools and experiences to step into professional life confidently.
