In Tanzania, as in many other countries, adolescent girls and young women face significant challenges in accessing menstrual products and supportive environments for managing their menstruation. The lack of affordability and accessibility of menstrual hygiene products, with deep-rooted stigma, creates barriers that hinder their school attendance and participation.

We are committed to driving systemic change through policy advocacy, community awareness, and sustainable solutions. Through collaborations with stakeholders and coalition efforts, FMF is working tirelessly to ensure that no girl misses school or feels ashamed because of menstruation.
